New Logo for Austin & Denholm Industrial Sales

Our new logo for Austin & Denholm Industrial Sales Inc. was designed to coincide with a reprint of the company's business stationery and to integrate with their new web site.

Not part of the original contract, the logo re-design was commissioned following a pitch to show the client what we could do. "It wasn't about money and nor was the client particulary nervous—they just couldn't visualize the possibilities and therefore see the value" says Simon Britchford.

Seizing the opportunity, three separate approaches were presented: a simple typographical treatment, a stylized logotype using the 'ADI' initials, and a full-blown logo concept totalling some 20 designs in all.

Developed from the third option, the final design incorporates a radial graphic element in the shape of a pump impeller. As well as creating a dynamic form, it symbolizes the company's core business: industrial pumping solutions.
